Remove Unwanted Images From Your Amazon Listing

Unfortunately, unless you see how things are set up within Amazon, it will be difficult for you to understand but I can try explaining how to solve this. Only someone internally at Amazon can solve this and it can take time.

1. You will need to get a BS, VM, or someone via VC live chat to action the following steps for you.
2. They will need to go on an internal tool to find who uploaded the images. They should be able to find an identification number, a company code, a vendor code or a brand code.
3. There is an internal brand registry tool that shows who can make changes to ASINs that belong to the brand (for example the brand itself, distributors, etc.). Get the person taking the actions for you to make sure that all the company codes associated to the brand are correct. If there are some company codes that don’t belong there, get them removed.
4. Once step 3 is completed, you should be able to change back to the original images without issue. You can obviously change the images back earlier, but only until steps 1-3 are done can you be sure they won’t be changed again.

Last step: just to be extra sure, if you have found the offending vendor code that is leading to these issues, what you can do is ask on VC live chat to remove all attributes associated with the vendor code on the ASIN.

For example if the vendor code was XXXXX and the ASIN was BXXXXXXX, you would say:

“I need you to remove all attributes for ASIN BXXXXXXX that are associated with vendor code XXXXX in the US marketplace.”
