My most recent client went to market in the pool chemical category with a smart pool device. I was hired to help design wireframes and over all strategy geared to inform and engage the customer. Customer engagement is rapidly replacing the old catalog styled sites by satisfying consumers need to solve problems which include the sales of consumable products.
Recently I worked with the fastest growing brand in the kamado style charcoal grilling category for a year end revenue of 65M.
I was hired to develop a direct to consumer store but during the first 90 days I resolved logistics and compliance issues to deliver over 1M worth of goods.
In addition I developed a growth strategy for mass merchant channels using advertising analytics, 3rd party tools and sell thru data to show the incremental value.
I built a profitable direct to consumer experience growing revenue with primarily organic traffic propped up with minimal advertising.In addition I designed, built and maintained the social media presence as well as a Woocommerce sales cart.
I also collaborated with vendors and internal teams to create optimized landing pages and 3rd party tools to optimize Amazon marketplace spend within vendor central and seller central.
My day to day duties were management of business relationships for Amazon, Walmart ,Wayfair, Lowes , Home Depot, Ace Hardware, True Value ,Field And Stream, Dicks Sporting Goods,Target, Houzz, Hayneedle, BBQGuys and Cabelas. These duties also required brand maintenance using various content management platforms specific to each vendor.
During the course of this assignment I insured accurate and optimized product listings as well as marketing collateral for visibility as a quality brand representation to maximize sales.
I was also required to resolve EDI compliance for partner requirements for logistics and data as well as integration with SPS Commerce. UPC code creation and assignment with GS1 and the GDSN network was also required.
I also functioned in support of the national accounts ecomm or dropship programs in regards to fulfillment, online reviews and consumer questions. This included continuous improvement in regards to vendor relations and brand management.
I was successful in the Integration of mobile apps for Android and Iphone to the online store in respect to existing workflow for fulfillment with the Ikamand hardware.
I also created a new company catalog for dealers with lifestyle and detail photos as well as data of the entire product and accessory line.
Concerning advertising I was responsible for Google adwords/display ads, Instagram and Amazon Marketing service to yield an average return of $55 for every dollar spent.
